Born in Surrey, BC, I moved with my family to Vancouver Island in the 1970s where my father worked as a road builder for Dyer Logging in Sayward. We later relocated to Campbell River after the burning down of Phoenix Jr High, prompting a decision to avoid the challenging school commute. I graduated from Carihi in 1980 and initially pursued a career in housing and interior design before joining Canada Post, where I worked until a workplace injury necessitated a career shift.
 

For the past 25 years, I have been a dedicated member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada. My professional journey in property appraisal has not only been fulfilling but has also allowed me to meet diverse people every day—each assignment bringing its own unique challenge. Ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering top-quality service are my utmost priorities.
 

Married to my lifelong partner for 35 years, we are blessed with four children, nine grandchildren, and a great-grandchild, with another on the way in February 2025. My husband's career has taken our family to various northern locations on Vancouver Island including Port Hardy, Port McNeill, Port Alice, Gold River, and Zeballos.
